Hepatitis B vaccination
Vaccination against hepatitis B Since the occurrence of liver cancer is closely related to hepatitis B, especially in developing countries, the positive rate of hepatitis B surface antigen in the serum of liver cancer patients is greater than 50%.
The World Health Organization Liver Cancer Prevention Conference pointed out that the correlation between hepatitis B virus and liver cancer is as high as 80%. Therefore, hepatitis B vaccine is regarded as the first “anti-cancer vaccine”. Therefore, vaccination against hepatitis B is one of the important measures to prevent liver cancer.
Hepatitis C Epidemiological
The positive rate of serum hepatitis B surface antigen in liver cancer patients is mostly less than 50% in developed countries, but the positive rate of hepatitis C antibody is mostly higher than 50%, and the positive rate of hepatitis C antibody in alcoholic cirrhosis complicated with liver cancer is as high as 76%.
Therefore, it is believed that hepatitis C virus may be the main cause of liver cancer in developed countries. There are also data reports in my country that 28.5% of liver cancer patients with negative hepatitis B surface antigen are positive for hepatitis C antibodies, which shows that hepatitis C virus is an important carcinogenic factor for liver cancer.
80%-90% of hepatitis C is transmitted through blood and blood products, so minimizing blood transfusions or the use of blood products is another effective measure to reduce hepatitis C and control the occurrence of liver cancer.
Do not eat moldy food
Moldy food is prone to produce aflatoxin, and the carcinogenic effect of aflatoxin is 75 times greater than that of nitrosamines. It can cause liver cancer in all animals. Scholars believe that it is one of the initiating factors of liver cancer. Therefore, do not eat moldy food.
Do not drink alcohol
Data show that alcoholism is related to the occurrence of liver cancer. Patients with alcoholic cirrhosis have a high chance of developing liver cancer, so do not drink alcohol. Generally speaking, it is better for healthy people to drink less, while those with liver disease should avoid alcohol.
Liver cancer prevention
Drinking water pollution, drug poisoning, smoking, nitrosamines, trace element deficiency and genetic factors all have synergistic carcinogenic effects. Therefore, comprehensive measures such as environmental protection, hygiene, nutrition, drug abuse and bad hygiene habits should be taken to effectively prevent liver cancer.
