What causes facial paralysis
Peripheral facial paralysis is caused by imbalance of qi and blood, mostly caused by cold wind invading the facial meridians, and a few caused by wind-heat and wind-phlegm blocking the meridians.
Before the onset of facial paralysis, there are symptoms of qi and blood deficiency, such as fatigue, stiff neck and back, sweating and chills, etc., and the disease often occurs after waking up from sleep.
