What are the causes of liver cirrhosis

Liver cirrhosis mainly occurs in the elderly and middle-aged people. The main reason is due to problems in living habits, such as frequent drinking, heavy smoking, etc.

There are many causes of liver cirrhosis in life that have a very serious impact on patients with the disease.

What are the main causes of liver cirrhosis

Liver tissue damaged by metabolic disorders

The disease is caused by metabolic disorders in the body of the patient. This is a chromosomal recessive copper metabolism disorder caused by liver cirrhosis and brain degeneration.

Due to the deposition of a large amount of copper salts in the liver, liver tissue is damaged. The liver is shrunk and hard in texture, which belongs to macronodular liver cirrhosis.

Iron metabolism disorder causes excessive absorption of iron in the small intestine, and iron is deposited in the liver, pancreas, heart, kidney, spleen, skin, etc., causing cell destruction, fibrosis and organ function damage. It manifests as skin pigmentation, diabetes and liver cirrhosis.

Heredity causes liver cirrhosis

Heredity is also the main phenomenon of this disease, which is several times greater than those common causes of the disease. It is an autosomal dominant genetic disease, and liver cirrhosis is part of this disease.

A large number of dilated thin-walled capillaries can be seen in the fibrous septa of the liver. Pancreatic cystic fibrosis is a systemic abnormality in mucus secretion that can cause fatty infiltration of the liver. The abnormal mucus blocks the pancreatic duct and also causes bile duct obstruction, thus forming biliary cirrhosis.

Congenital syphilis can also cause cirrhosis.
