what are the early symptoms of kidney cancer

What is renal cancer

Renal cancer, also known as renal cell carcinoma, can occur in any part of the renal parenchyma, but it is most common in the upper and lower parts, and a few cases can invade the entire kidney.

The left and right kidneys have equal chances of developing the disease, and bilateral lesions account for 1% to 2%. Renal cancer has become a major disease that endangers society and human health, and it has brought great pain and distress to mankind.

Early symptoms of renal cancer:

(1) Hematuria:

Most cases of hematuria are sudden, without pain or any discomfort. They often occur intermittently and can stop on their own without being noticed. Only after repeated attacks do people go to the hospital for examination. If the first hematuria is taken seriously, early medical treatment can achieve better results.

(2) Lumbar pain:

This is the result of the enlargement of the tumor involving the renal capsule to compress the peripheral nerves and intramuscular tissues. Most cases are waist or upper abdominal pain. Occasionally, blood clots are blocked when discharged through the ureter, causing severe colic, which can be easily mistaken for kidney or ureteral stones and delay diagnosis and treatment.

(3) Lumbar mass:

When the tumor tissue grows to a considerable size, the patient can feel the mass in the waist or upper abdomen while lying on his side. If the mass is adhered to the surrounding tissue, fixed, and difficult to move, it is usually in the late stage.
